After many months of preparation and last year’s exhibition cancelled, this week we are finally opening again the Islands 2023 exhibition under the topic SOLIDARITY. Part of it are some of our long-time artists, as well as 5 new Ukrainian young artists that currently live on Madeira island. You can read their interviews HERE.
In addition, we will be showing the Unissued diplomas exhibition organized by displaced young Ukrainians that honours their deceased friends that fought for freedom.
To help the promotion of this event, Antena 1 visited our gallery today and heard our stories and motivation behind this project.
We are inviting you to visit us on 24th of February at 18:30h, the entrance is free of charge, and purchasing art works will help young Ukrainians.
