Open call for young artists from Madeiraю ECOSOCIAL RURAL ARTISTS (29TH SEPT – 8TH OCT)



PROJECT IDEA

"Urban Rural Artitsts" is an 8-day youth exchange, where a total of 28 young people from 7 countries will participate.

The objective of this mobility action is to generate a context of transformative learning and a meeting place where participants can learn and share knowledge and experiences about good practices in artistic disciplines and a practical knowledge in sciences related to eco-social sciences, as well as to create a critical and committed attitude to the preservation of the environment. and human rights.


A large part of the exchange will take place in our Rancho Limón: an agrarian space redefined as an educational innovation center located in the municipality of Cártama.

We will also visit one of the most vibrant rural artistic spots such as the village of Villanueva del Rosario and Malaga city



PLACE

Rancho Limón is an unbeatable space to host part of this activity. It is a space of reference in the province of Malaga in terms of artistic disciplines, with special emphasis on the plastic disciplines, more than 30 national and international artists have participated.


A final line of action would be eco-entrepreneurship and youth employability. We will approach this project from a practical practical perspective to provide participants with practical tools that will help artists to expand their job opportunities. For this purpose, there will be specific training in crowdfunding, social and circular economy and the project will end with the "Ecoartistas" festival, where young artists will be the protagonists throughout the project to promote their project and skills cultural and event management.

PORTUGUESE TEAM: 3 PARTICIPANTS + 1 LEADER PARTICIPANTS

The partner entities will have 4 participants, all of them over 18 years of age and up to 30 years of age. One member from each one member from each country will be the leader and he/she will be over 18 years old and will have no age limit.

It is a condition that all participants have to be linked to some artistic discipline (amateur, hobbie, professional artists,….) or be involved in cultural/artistic management or event management. Events.

For a common work that we are going to develop has priority artist related to paint, street art and graphic design. But obvious all kind of art are welcome.

LOCAL TRANSPORT in Malaga - Costa del Sol Airport (IATA: AGP, ICAO: LEMG) is one of the most important international airports in Spain.

To get to the city centre you can either take the bus or the train, even though we recommend youto take the train.




Bus: There is a bus station located underground at the airport. It can be reached from the arrivals level of the transportation hub or from arrivals in terminal 3, which can be accessed from all terminals. There is also a bus stop outside the cargo terminal. Buses to Malaga depart from a stop outside the arrivals hall half- hourly (6.30am to 11.30pm) and the ticket costs 3€.

Train: The airport has opened an underground station for Cercanías Málaga commuter trains,connecting it with Málaga and providing this way better communications with the city center. Málaga's new suburban train line has opened, providing access from the arrivals area of terminal 3.Trains run every 20 minutes between Malaga City and Fuengirola via Malaga Airport and the ticket costs 2,30€.


Anyway, if it’s better for you, it’s possible to fly to Madrid’s or Seville’s airport and then take a bus or train to Malaga.Please, it is really important that before buying the flight, we confirm them so they are 100%reimbursable!!, It is possible to come or leave 1/2 days before or earlier in your expenses.

To go from Malaga city to Guadalhorce Valley it is easy and fast. Bus or train cost less than 2 euros. If you are coming after midnight we will pick you up directly from airport.


REIMBURSEMENT The organizers will reimburse 100% of participants' travel costs (with cheapest means of transportation (economy class), no taxi) within the limits set by Erasmus+ Programme upon presentation of original tickets,invoices and boarding passes. On all documents the price, currency, name of the passenger, date of purchase and travel must be clearly visible; otherwise we will be unable to reimburse the costs.Please save all the tickets, boarding passes, bills, and if you can get them in an electronic version… better!!

We will pay all tickets last day of the project (with the check in done)
