Our team has been collaborating on REcolour for about a year now. Sustainable fashion practices for youth are the focus of Anti.Voque. This initiative was a joint effort between our association ARTE.M and the Latvian IMCA and einewelt.e.v.leipzig from Germany Before starting the work we conducted a research in three countries.
Educators, youth workers, and environmental activists from all three nations contributed to this study, which resulted in a 1.5-year plan to implement sustainability concepts in the fashion and workplace.

Our project was recognized as a Remake Ambassador in the first two months, which opened doors to a global network of eco-activists focused on sustainable fashion and gave us access to our partners' incredible data.
SocioHabita Funchal, Madeira Friends International Community Association, School Porto Santo, GrenerAct, and many more were among the amazing Madeira, Portugal, partners we were lucky enough to have from the beginning. As an example of the kind of impact that environmental campaigners may have, we collaborated to construct a stylish Sustainable LAB in Madeira.
The Madeira Circular Platform has highlighted our effort and has asked us to join. The platform is a compilation of the best eco-sustainable practices on Madeira Island. 🔄
It's an honor to be recognized as an example of eco-conscious and ethical fashion consumption by the Direção Regional do Ambiente e Ação Climática (DRAAC)
Journalists are interested in our initiative:
We have just gotten back from our training in Riga, the capital of Latvia and a city with a rich and colorful history...and an empire of vintage and secondhand stores....
Thanks to our wonderful hosts Gunta Kelle and Inese Subevuca in Riga, we were able to visit multiple upcycling social centers, listen to stylist and designer Ilze Cecina, peruse twelve vintage shops, take a road trip to the beautiful seaside towns of Jurmala and Sigulda, and take advantage of our partners' incredible idea
There are a lot of exciting things planned for the future. In 2024, we will have a summer program called the Summer of Fashion Sustainability. On Madeira, we will be launching anti-bullying programs for students, a master class series on fashion sustainability for students, a eco mural project in Funchal, and the first upcycling fashion show in Madeira in October of that year. Please contact us if you are considering joining our team.
