islands exhibition

It’s an annual event which aims not only to exhibit various artistic pieces from Madeiran and foreign artists but also seeks to establish a connection between the island and the global cultural world.

A part of the exhibition is always dedicated to presenting pieces created by young artists, people with disabilities, and talented artists lacking financial support.

Public participation in the ISLANDS project means solid help in delivering the works to Madeira, presenting the masterpieces and the artists’ story. Often the artists themselves receive the opportunity to come to the island.

Those who can’t participate physically due to various reasons – get fast feedback, latest news, and other information via social media – interviews, webinars, and consultations.
