Green Islands - Youth Exchange

This one-week youth exchange between Portugal (Madeira & Porto Santo) and Latvia is dedicated to sustainable green practices and exploring creative ways to promote eco-friendly living. Through a mix of hands-on activities, environmental actions, and artistic expression, participants will engage in:

🌿 Beach Clean-Up – Help protect marine life and preserve the island’s natural beauty.🌱 Nature Walks – Explore local flora and fauna, deepening your connection with the ecosystem.♻️ Upcycling Workshop – Transform recycled materials into 3D sculptures for a final exhibition.🏫 Sustainable School Practices – Share and develop eco-friendly initiatives, including sustainable fashion projects.👕 Fashion Show & Swap Party – Promote slow fashion through a creative show and clothing exchange.🎨 Sustainable Craft Workshop – Create art using only natural or recycled materials found on the island.🔍 Eco-Treasure Hunt – Solve environmental challenges through an island-wide scavenger hunt.💡 Green Technology Challenge – Work in teams to develop innovative eco-tech solutions for everyday sustainability challenges.
